I was over the moon when I finally had the chance to visit this place! I kept walking in circles making sure I didn't miss anything. The ready-made food reminds me of back home. If I had stayed longer, I probably would get more of the ready-made food! It was super convenient too, they have 2 microwaves ready if you want to heat it up and eat it on their outside seating area (covered). May want to get there on the time of their opening, the store gets crowded quick and the line for checkout can get long! Parking can get a bit tricky too.

This is my first time trying Indonesian food. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They’re family owned and operated, are super nice, and had a lot of yummy looking things to try but I ended up going with their chicken satay, mini chicken rice, and chicken mushroom noodles. And lemme just tell you nothing here missed. The chicken satay was super flavorful, juicy, savory, and umami and came with these chewy, firm rice cakes and a yummy creamy thick peanut sauce. This little rice box was so cute and was LOADED with flavor and food. There was half a spicy boiled egg, dry shredded chicken, chow mian, and fried tempeh. It was a bit spicy, sweet, and savory. Pure deliciousity. And the noodles? MNM. Nicely springy with a good amount of tender, juicy, soy, umami chicken and mushrooms. It even came with some veggies, crispity crunchy wonton strips, and a beef ball soup that had perfectly bouncy umami meatballs and a frangrant savory aromatic soup with plenty of green onions. Overall This place is pretty good. Chicken satay $17 Mini rice $12 Chicken mushroom noodles $15

This is the most authentic Indonesian food in the san Gabriel valley. For the last 5 years I come at least once a month after work around 4pm. The selection sometimes is limited. Today I went at 11am, they have full line of selection. If you want more selection of fresh made food be sure you go early. One option is to get something for lunch, there are outside tables and chairs available for picnic style eating. See the pictures of food selection. I just like everything they make.

If you're craving authentic Indonesian flavors or looking to stock up on hard-to-find ingredients, Medan Kitchen Indonesian Food and Groceries is the place to go! While the prices may be a bit on the higher side, the quality and variety you get in return make it totally worth it. One of the standout features of Medan Kitchen is the sheer vastness of their selection. From spices and snacks to fresh ingredients and ready-made meals, you’ll find every type of Indonesian food imaginable. It’s a one-stop-shop for everything Indonesian, and the best part is that you don’t have to go hunting through multiple stores to find that elusive sambal or rendang spice mix. The quality of the products is also top-notch—whether you're picking up fresh produce or packaged goods, everything is always fresh and authentic. What really makes this place a go-to is that feeling of being immersed in Indonesian food culture as soon as you walk through the door. Sure, the prices may lean towards the higher end, but you're paying for premium quality and the convenience of having access to a diverse selection of ingredients that you simply won’t find anywhere else. Plus, it's not just groceries! There’s a se

The place offers a wide variety of freshly cookef foods, cakes and snacks from Indonesia. People can enjoy their foods outdoor after paying. However, the place feels somewhat crowded and disorganized, and certain items are overpriced.
